Corie Rose Soumash, DMA Candidate, and Zosha Di Castri, Composition Faculty, pieces featured in concert winning Prix Opus Award

Corie Rose Soumah and Zosha S. Di Castri had world premieres in a concert (Totem Paramirabo) on April 25, 2025 that just won the Prix Opus "Concert of the Year, for Electroacoustic Music and Musiques Actuelle." The concert featured Ensemble Paramirabo and Productions Totem Contemporain, produced by Le Vivier, and featured a program of all female composers including pieces by Julie Delisle, Corie Rose Soumah, Katherine Young, Geneviève Ackerman, and Zosha Di Castri.
