Eliad Wagner will be presenting on his work with modular synthesizers at the CMC on Tuesday, Jan 27, 7-9pm in 320H, Prentis.
Eliad Wagner is a composer, performer, and educator. He holds a BSc in Physics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and an MMus in Composition and Music Technology from the Utrecht School of the Arts. His work explores performance with agential processes, trans-stylistic vocabularies, and cosmotechnics. Wagner performs primarily with the modular synthesizer and composes for solo performance, ensembles, and installation contexts. He is a co-founder and regular contributing composer of the electroacoustic ensemble Circuit Training. Since 2015, he has led the B.A. in Electronic Music Production and Performance at Catalyst Institute for Creative Arts and Technology in Berlin. His music appears on labels such as Superpang, Room40, and Fält, with work presented by MIT Press, RSB Berlin, HKW, STEIM, and the Guggenheim, among others.
