The course instructs students in the realization of movement-sound interactive works. Students are introduced to digital tracking and sonic-mapping of physical motion through the use of computers. Creative and production issues of interactive movement-sound works are examined. The course combines lectures and hands-on lab sessions for instruction. Computer musicians and dancers are combined in interdisciplinary teams for the production of works that are performed at the end of the semester
