Class Materials:

This past class we looked at everyone’s individual projects and workshopped them in class. A fair amount of time was spent talking about thresholds and logic statements. Afterwards we looked at patch organization and general patch-flow aesthetics.

Topics included:
-subpatchers
-bpatchers
-creating custom max objects to use as modules

We then discussed externals (3rd party Max Objects) and using file-path preferences in Max to look at specific folders that contain max objects that do not come with the original Max download.

Using vst and audio unit plugins is really useful, too, and max can use these with the vst~ object.
